The Peak to Peak Music Education Association (PPMEA) was established in memory of “Michigan Mike” Torpie, the visionary founder of NedFest, to honor his legacy by continuing support for music education programs throughout the Peak to Peak region. While NedFest itself concluded after 2018, PPMEA has kept the spirit alive by organizing successful events, such as the annual 4th of July Barn Dances and the NedFest Family Reunion.

My Role and Contributions 2014 - 2019: 

• Recruited, coordinated, scheduled, and managed a volunteer box office team of up to 15 members
• Oversaw guest list management and will call operations
• Delivered excellent customer service and efficiently resolved disputes
• Tracked wristband inventory and reconciled cash drawers
• Compiled comprehensive post-event reports for the PPMEA Board

These experiences reflect my commitment to seamless event execution, community engagement, and supporting music education in the region.
